Spring Tour: Kitchen Edition

11th April 2016

This weekend has been full of sawdust, power tools and loads of backaches. I will give you an update on our back deck later this week. In the meantime, I wanted to join a few ladies to bring you one of the rooms in our house that is keeping me sane.

I am excited to be joining these other awesome DIY/home bloggers around the country to give you a small spring tour. Once you have read this post make sure to stop by their blogs and be inspired by their creativity and style. You can find the links to their posts at the bottom.

It’s been so beautiful and sunny here in Florida allowing me to snag some great pictures to show you of our kitchen. {You can always check out what it looked like before.} Paint really transformed this space–see our kitchen cabinet makeover here. You can also find the tutorial for the DIY magazine garland here 12985412_10154132888647220_3373338244539669803_n DSCN1683 DSCN1682 DSCN1672 DSCN1700 DSCN1695 *Of course my pup finds her way into the picture 😉 DSCN1691 DSCN1681 DSCN1690 DSCN1688 DSCN1687 DSCN1668 DSCN1666 Thanks for peaking into our home. I love the floral prints that you chose. Open shelving in the kitchen would be such a great way to add seasonal color. Our kitchen reno is way off… so I guess I have plenty of time to think through open shelves, ha! I love your old home and the details in the kitchen, like the ceiling and the trim around the chalkboard door — but my absolute favorite detail is that old wooden door. Beautiful!

So glad you got some good weather for great photos! I love how paint can transform a space instantly. Also, I love how your kitchen has a spot for everything to make it more functional. I am all bout creating functionality and things that work for our family! That chalkboard door is awesome and your collection of Mason and vintage. Count me in – I can’t get enough of anything Mason jars!!

Such a pretty space. So bright and cherry and those are such neat lights!! Love the shelves so much spring & vintage (my favorite) and the space seems really cozy and homey.

Great work 🙂 Love that chalkboard door, that’s a great uplifting quote ready space.
